Just a few moments after I wrote yesterday's blog I got a call from the endocrinologist. Christian is going to start the growth hormone therapy in September. She said the stem test was normal but his IGF-1 and growth hormones are still very low. They have some sort of class, I believe, to teach us how to give him the shots. We are going to push the "Super Man" shots again and hopefully he won't be so upset. I hate to think about it. The endo did say not to go out and buy new clothes because it is suppose to work pretty quick for bone growth and he will "shoot" up. Now we have to figure out how to get some weight on him. He eats all the time but he has that metabolism that most of us women would love to have.
